Shamrock Bay Resort

We have been owners at the Shamrock resort for 7 years. This resort has been fabulous, especially the last 2 years. We have a place right on the Severn River, and the view is spectacular. I specifically want to point out the outstanding work Alison, the manager of entertainment has done. This resort has gone over the top to accommodate young and old. Through Ted’s (general manager) leadership, I would rate this resort 4 1/2 stars!! Kudos to Shamrock Bay Resort. Jeff and Corien

We are owners here and love it! The park is managed exceptionally well and the staff are very responsive and friendly. The number and types of events they hold here are amazing. Ali, the events coordinator, is incredible! We especially like the Adult focused activities, like live bands and wine and cheese receptions. The sense of community here is also second to none!

Shamrock Bay Resort is a mobile home park. The accommodations are only as good as the house you keep. Some people will rent out their property like an airbnb type thing. But the resort takes a fee to maintain it. So most people who are there are there all season. A great place to make new friends. The staff is super friendly. And the community is small enough that everything is a short walk away... but most people have golf carts anyways!

We have been owners at Shamrock for 7 years now. Over the years there have been changes that have improved the resort for the better. I have to say though, these past two years have been the best! We got a very involved new General Manager, Ted Foster and the best Event Coordinator in the Muskoka/Severn area. This gem is our own Alison Herbel Wellington. She has provided so many smiles and laughter to all of her events and she has brought us all together in friendship and inclusiveness. Shamrock would not be the same without her! Thanks Ali, thanks Ted. We can’t wait to see what you have in store for us next year!

Stayed overnight last minute during our boat trip. Arrived late and had no vehicle. Dave shuttled us with our belongings and showed us the whole resort. We also have a minor boat issue and Dave also gave some advice on repairs and helped us locate local parts store. Great job!

Shamrock Bay Resort has been our summer place for the last 8 years and the last 2 years have been the best by far. The general manager, Ted has done an excellent job of making much needed improvements. He has been helpful and approachable and has gone out of his way to ensure that the residents issues get resolved. As well, the maintenance crew of Doug and Dennis have made sure that the resort is is good repair and well taken care of. The resort’s activity director Alison has done a more than excellent job planning activities for all age groups. This February super snow weekend brings to mind the wonderful times past and future at Shamrock. We are excited to start our ninth season this May and are looking forward to seeing what our events coordinator extraordinaire Alison has in store for 2025. With so many kids, families and adults in the park, she does a truly remarkable job of providing fun events for everyone. Of course, our personal favourite is the adults’ live music evenings and for this we are super appreciative of the job she has done since coming on the scene two summers ago. Rob & Angie

This resort is truly a hidden gem in Muskoka! It has the best of cottaging plus resort amenities. Activities for all ages, boating, and beautiful and modern cottages which are clean. The grounds are well maintained. With new management, the resort and cottaging life are even better! And the rental team does an outstanding job of ensuring you have a wonderful stay. The Welcome Center boast Kawartha Dairy ice cream and an amazing staff available to answer any questions! We enjoyed the Pontoon boat ride on the Trent Severn waterway with breathtaking views! This resort is a must experience destination!
